This stylish and cozy house offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city centre... The Garden of Camellias located in a charming and picturesque small walking street of cobblestone in the Foz neighbourhood.
This gorgeous retreat emanates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that feels like home... It was beautifully renovated in 2017 by the architect Pedro Jervell who created bright interiors with a vintage industrial vibe, adding a timeless elegance to it.
The luminous and spacious living and dining areas boast white cement floor and walls paired with big skylights on the beamed high ceilings. The top floor includes also a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom.
The bedrooms are soothing, chic and striking. There are four in total. Each one has a comfortable large double bed, high quality soft furnishings and furniture and a private ensuite bathroom, ensuring high comfort standards. The unique bedrooms' design features wooden walls that provide a natural feel and a warm atmosphere. Natural light was incorporated and made a feature by using mirrors and glass in the bedrooms' architecture and décor.
Guests can take some time to relax and unwind in the lovely garden! This tranquil retreat's centerpiece is dotted with camellias trees aligned behind the old well. There is also an old cobblestone pathway in the middle of aromatic shrubs and rosetrees as well as a very nice sundeck to relax and sunbathe.

There are four bedrooms in the house:

5 Bathrooms
Besides each bedroom having its own full bathroom (sink, shower and toilet), there is a guest bathroom (sink and toilet) on the common areas floor.
There are free toiletries and a hair dryer in each bathroom.

The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, cutlery, dishes, utensils, glassware, and so on, as well as:

- Under countertop refrigerators (2 units)

Heating & Cooling
While the living and dining area boast 2 units of aircon, there are heating units throughout the house, including in all the bedrooms.
There is no need to cool the bedrooms, even on hot summer days. One can often feel the cool ocean breeze and the construction is quite efficient in thermal terms.
The garden
The Garden of Camellias is our guests' exclusive use.
There are outdoor chairs and lounge chairs available.
The access to the Garden is external.

- The house is located in a small walking street with no car access. Yet, there is free on-street parking in the neighbourhood
- Foz is a quiet residential neighbourhood of Porto and it is quite safe

House rules
When considering booking the house, please take into consideration the following house rules:
- Smoking is not allowed
- No pets
- No parties
- No overnight guests without previous approval from the host
For larger groups
This house may be rented along with the Garden of Camellias apartments, allowing larger family or groups up to a total of 20 guests to stay nearby.
