Foz is a privileged place with the beaches and the seaside promenade. It is also a Natural Heritage site with the Foz Geological Walk promoting and protecting its special rocky formations.
The beaches proudly display the blue flag eco-label, a sign of high quality unpolluted seawater Praia de Carneiro is only at a 2 minute walking distance from the rentals. Praia da Luz and Praia do Homem do Leme are two of the best places to relax and enjoy a refreshing drink or cocktail.

This fabulous cultural institution combines a contemporary art museum, a stunning villa and extensive gardens. The museum was designed by the Pritzker awarded architect Álvaro Siza Vieira. The delightful, pink Casa de Serralves is a prime example of art deco.
The museums sits within the marvellous 18-hectare Parque de Serralves.

Stay in shape while having some fun! Although Porto is quite hilly, the waterfront is great for a stroll, for jogging or for a bike ride. There are also plenty of water sports such as surfing, kite surfing, canoeing and rowing.
The main beach, Matosinhos, is the best bet for the true beach going experience of golden sand and great surf, beachside cafes and lots of locals to socialize with.

A joy for the aimless ambler, this 19th-century garden is flanked by graceful old buildings and dotted with willowy palms, sculptures, fountains and a bandstand that occasionally stages concerts in summer. Listen to the crash of the ocean as you wander its tree-canopied avenues. There's also mini-golf for the kids.

This is Portugal's largest urban park. It features lakes and a varied fauna and flora and it ends on the beach.
Laced with 10km of walking and cycling trails, this is where locals come to unplug and recharge, picnic, play ball, jog, cycle, lounge in the sun and feed the ducks on the lake.
